Bibliothèque de Laval
The Bibliothèque de Laval, is the public library system of Laval, Quebec,
Canada.
It is one of the largest French language public library systems in the province
and in North America. There are ten different branches listed below. The
bibliotèque Multiculturelle is the only one that has English and foreign
language books; the other 9 are mostly French (with the exception of magazines,
CDs, DVDs and videos). In 1995, Laval public library lent more than 2 million
documents, to almost 92,000 readers in 25,731 opened hours.

Carrefour Laval
Carrefour Laval is a super regional mall located in Laval, Quebec, Canada at the
intersection of the Laurentian Autoroute (A-15) and Laval Freeway (A-440). At
115,478 m2 (1,242,990 sq ft), it is the largest enclosed mall in the Montreal
area (Quartier Dix30, in Brossard, is larger), the second largest in the
province of Quebec (after Quebec City's Laurier), and the 8th largest in Canada.
It includes outdoor and a multi-level indoor parking.
The mall first opened in 1974 and is owned and operated by The Cadillac Fairview
Corporation. The Carrefour Laval is one of the four fashion centres in the
Montreal area that also include Fairview Pointe-Claire, Les Promenades
Saint-Bruno and Les Galeries d'Anjou.

CFGL-FM
CFGL-FM is a French language Canadian radio station located in Laval, Quebec,
near Montreal. While the station's city of licence is Laval and its studios are
actually in that city, it operates as a de facto Montreal station. It is the
flagship of the "Rythme FM" branding network (which the station used since
1999), which operates across much of Quebec.

CJLV
CJLV is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Laval, Quebec, near
Montreal.
Founded by Gilles Lajoie and Colette Chabot, and operated by Diffusion Laval,
Inc. the station broadcasts on 1570 kHz with a power of 10,000 watts as a class
B station, using a directional antenna pointing east which has a slightly
directional pattern during the day and a much tighter pattern at night. While
the station's signal is unimpressive from a local point of view and does not
even cover entirely the Greater Montreal area even during daytime, the station
has been received by many DXers in Europe and is considered there as one of the
"easy" targets for Transatlantic DX.

Cosmodome
The Cosmodome is the home to both Space Camp Canada and the Space Science Center
(a museum). Space Camp Canada welcomed its first campers in July 1994 while the
Space Science Center, opened its doors to the public in December 1994.

Société de transport de Laval (STL)
Société de transport de Laval (STL) is the public transit system in the city of
Laval, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in June 1971 as the Commission de
transport de la Ville de Laval (CTL). STL came about in 1984.
It serves the growing suburban areas of Laval, North of Montreal.
A proposal to convert some of STL's most heavily used routes to electric
trolleybuses is currently under study, jointly by STL and Hydro-Québec.
